Androsace adfinis subsp. puberula (Jord. & Fourr.)
rocky meadows
June - July
Subalpine, Alpine

This species is an Alpine endemic, i.e. it grows exclusively in the Alps. In particular, this androsace is endemic only to the Western Alps. In the Park, it is especially frequent in Val di Cogne in subalpine and alpine stony grasslands and on siliceous substrate. The leaves are linear, velvety and fleshy, adapted to dry environments. To observe it in flower, however, it is necessary to move in late spring as flowering is rather early.
